Dec 17 | Revolution @ 255 The minute I walked in I was blown away. The retrospective on Nike Basketball. It's almost what comes after "Sole Provider" the book written by Robert "Scoop" Jackson. It might also feel like the collection of research material Scoop used to write the book. The exhibition gets down to every detail, everything is part of the exhibition. There's Lego bball playsets, a plasma tv showing nike bball ads, sneakers, the original blazers up to the current Zoom Generations. He formed the Workhorsevisuals.com collective and recently opened "The Lab 101" gallery with business partner Freddi C. His intricate, multilayered spray painted stencil paintings will be on display there December 13th. Additionally, recent freelance jobs with Nike and Burton have helped spotlight his stencil work.
